Stop, Yield & Unsignalized Pedestrian Signs shall be used to inform motorists on how to proceed at an intersection. Stop signs are for traffic that needs to come to a complete stop, where yield signs are used for traffic that needs to slow down before continuing. The pedestrian signs are used to warn motorists about pedestrian traffic across the roadway.
